Minister of Economy:
manages the activities of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and is personally responsible for the execution of tasks assigned to the Ministry and the exercise of their functions;
establishes a degree of personal responsibility of heads of departments of the central office for the management of individual activities of the Ministry;
modifies the structure of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Economy and its territorial bodies within the established population and the wage fund;
issues orders and instructions necessary for the execution units of the central apparatus of the Ministry and its subordinate organizations;
approves regulations on structural units of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Economy;
Approves the staffing of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Economy;
exercise other powers within the jurisdiction established by legislation.

Born in the city of Samarkand. Graduated from Samarkand Cooperative Institute. In August 2011, she was appointed Minister of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Doctor of Economics, Professor.

Khodjaev Botir Asadillaevich

First Deputy Minister of Economy on macroeconomic parameters, financial-currency balance and development of the Republican investment program.

Born in 1956 in Tashkent. In 1979 he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers. In November 2011 he was appointed as First Deputy Minister of Economy.

Mirzamahmudov Jurabek Tursunpo'latovich

Born in 1979 in Namangan. In 2001 he graduated from the University of Alabama, in 2005 - the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. In May 2012 he was appointed Deputy Minister of Economy.

Shermatov Sa'di Batirovich

Turdiyev Dilmurod Rahmatjonovich
