Designated National Authority on the CDM

  • In accordance with the Presidential Decree №PP-525 of December 2, 2006 Interagency Council on the CDM was established at the Cabinet of Ministers.

  • The Ministry of Economy designated as the National Authority for the CDM.

  • The decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan №9 of January 10, 2007 approved regulations on the preparation and implementation of investment projects in the framework of the Clean Development Mechanism.

  • Interagency Council on the CDM is responsible for the strategic issues related to the implementation of CDM projects in Uzbekistan, including their approval.
